Storage Hints & Advice
 

                   

 
  • Park your caravan as straight as possible with the jockey
    wheel on the positioning slab to allow us to get our mower
    between the units.
     
  • Make sure all corner steadies are down, chock the wheels
    and leave the handbrake off, (to prevent seizure over long
    storage periods.
     
  • Lock all doors, windows and roof vents securely.
     
  • Turn all gas bottles off

  • Leave fridge door ajar or on secondary catch and remove all food items

  • Any hitch locks and wheel clamps are fitted correctly and securely, and security keys/tags are kept in a safe place.

  • Please make sure unit is displaying a current registration number and to inform us of any changes of your contact details.

  • When taking unit out of storage please leave a marker with your name or registration number on your pitch.

Additional Winter Precautions 

  • Drain water system including toilet flushing and holding tank and leave all taps open (to prevent frost damage)

  • Disconnect battery terminals (to prevent discharge over long periods)

  • Remove all smoke alarm batteries.

  • Make sure any security alarm batteries are fully charged.

  • That any caravan covers and hitch covers are securely fitted.

  • Consider fitting winter covers to fridge vents.
